In the review process, Jurnal Metakognisi applies the Double-Blind Review model (as much as possible the editorial team tries to ensure that the reviewer does not know the identity of the author of the manuscript being reviewed/examined, the author's identity is hidden by the editorial team), to maintain confidentiality. Each submitted manuscript is first checked by the editor-in-chief and editor. If the manuscript meets the focus and scope as well as the writing guidelines of Jurnal Metakognisi, the document is forwarded to the reviewer to assess the content and novelty of the manuscript. If not, the manuscript will be returned to the author. At least two reviewers will review each document for approximately 1-3 weeks with the predetermined and agreed-upon manuscript evaluation criteria. Manuscripts that have been submitted require an average time of about two months to be published.
