Abstract

This study aims to study and analyze community social actions in coastal abrasion mitigation in Carita District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. The purpose of this study is to explain how the social actions of the community in Carita sub-district in overcoming coastal abrasion and the factors that affect these social actions, with the location, The object of this research is the community in Sukajadi Village, precisely in the Muara Pagedongan Area, Carita District by involving the Conservation Activist Community Community (KOMPAK) of Sukajadi Village and the lecturers, STKIP Babunnajah students as community representatives in carrying out conservation in the form of mangrove planting. The type of research used is a qualitative method, This research method is a type of research that is more based on phenomenological philosophy that prioritizes Appreciation, Qualitative methods try to understand and interpret a human behavior in a certain situation.
